LOCATION - Lat 26°15'33", long 80°57'16" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, in SW 1/4 sec.32, T.48 S., R.34 E., Hendry County, FL, Hydrologic Unit 03090202, on east bank of Levee 28 Interceptor canal, 500 ft upstream from the northern boundary of Big Cypress National Preserve and inside the southern boundary of the Big Cypress Seminole Indian Reservation, 3.3 mi south of State Road 833, 4.6 mi west of the intersection of the Hendry, Collier and Broward county lines, 6.6 mi north of U.S. Interstate 75, 33 mi south of Clewiston, and 1.9 mi southeast of S-190, a two gate structure.
