LOCATION - Lat 26°17'34.6", long 80°11'10.5" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, in SE 1/4 NE 1/4 SE 1/4 sec.07, T.48 S., R.42 E., Broward County, FL, Hydrologic Unit 03090202, along the eastern side of Lyons Road, 0.2 mi south of the intersection with Winston Park Boulevard, 1.0 mi east of U.S. Highway 441, and 7.5 mi northwest of Pompano Beach.
REVISIONS HISTORY - Revisions: Groundwater levels and discrete water-levels measurements for the period  October 27, 2014, to October 26, 2016, were revised on March 27, 2019, because Measuring Point (MP), correction length was incorrect.  Previous MP correction length was Top of shelf 20.60 ft above NGVD29. The corrected MP length for revised period is Top of base 20.33 ft NGVD29.
GROUNDWATER RECORDS
WELL CHARACTERISTICS - Depth 15 ft. Upper casing diameter 5 in; top of first opening 11.5 ft, bottom of last opening 20 ft. Cased to 12 ft, open hole 12 to 15 ft. See REMARKS.
DATUM - Land-surface datum is 18.3 ft above National Geodetic Vertical Datum of 1929. Measuring point: Top of casing, 20.22 ft above National Geodetic Vertical Datum of 1929, Dec. 2, 1997 to present. Land-surface datum is 16.7 ft, above North American Vertical Datum of 1988. See REMARKS.
PERIOD OF RECORD - January 1963 to July 1987, (previous well); current well, July 1987 to current year. See REMARKS.
GAGE - Electronic data logger.
COOPERATION - Broward County.
REMARKS - This well replaces 20 ft deep well G-1213 (USGS 261734080111301), abandoned in 1987. The replacement well was drilled in the vicinity of the abandoned well and the well name and number were retained for publication. Records of water levels from the site prior to October 1973 are available in files of the U.S. Geological Survey. The existing well is open to the aquifer to a depth of 14.6 ft. In 2003, the well was incorrectly reported as obstructed. The well was damaged and repaired December 1997, January 9, 2002.
