LOCATION - Lat 26°22'58.4", long 81°47'17.4" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, in NE 1/4 NE 1/4 SE 1/4 sec.15, T.47 S., R.25 E., Lee County, FL, Hydrologic Unit 03090204, 25 ft west of Stillwell Parkway and 50 ft north of Strike Lane, 1.3 mi east of old U.S. Highway 41, (County Road 887), 3.5 mi north of Bonita Springs.
GROUNDWATER RECORDS
WELL CHARACTERISTICS - Depth 105 ft. Upper casing diameter 4 in; top of first opening 59 ft, bottom of last opening 105 ft. Artesian well, open hole 59 to 105 ft.
DATUM - Land-surface datum is 13.9 ft above National Geodetic Vertical Datum of 1929. Measuring point: Top of casing, 1.76 ft above land-surface datum, July 1, 1987, to present.
PERIOD OF RECORD - July 1987 to September 1994 (monthly), October 1994 to September 1995 (quarterly), October 1995 to March 1997 (monthly), April 1997 to Jan. 2015. Discontinued.
GAGE - Satellite data collection platform.
REMARKS - Well is also used for salinity monitoring. Samples are collected from a depth of 67 ft because a portion of the open hole of this well has collapsed or become obstructed below this depth.
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD - Highest water level measured, 12.73 ft NGVD, Oct. 25, 1995; lowest, 6.87 ft below NGVD, Apr. 25, 1996.
