LOCATION - Lat 27°17'55.5", long 80°15'28.5" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, in NW 1/4 NW 1/4 SE 1/4 sec.32, T.36 S., R.41 E., St. Lucie County, FL, Hydrologic Unit 03090202, 4 ft from north edge of Walton Road, 0.5 mi west of Indian River Drive (County Road 707) approximately 15 ft east of STL-176.
GROUNDWATER RECORDS
WELL CHARACTERISTICS - Depth 200 ft. Upper casing diameter 4 in; top of first opening 68 ft, bottom of last opening 200 ft. Gravel-packed casing and screen 54.5 to 200 ft.
DATUM - Land-surface datum is 18.7 ft above National Geodetic Vertical Datum of 1929. Measuring point: Top of base, 21.74 ft above National Geodetic Vertical Datum of 1929, Feb. 1, 1975 to Jun. 1, 1988; Top of shelf, 21.97 ft above National Geodetic Vertical Datum of 1929, May 1, 1988 to Feb. 1, 1993; Top of base, 21.66 ft above National Geodetic Vertical Datum of 1929, Feb. 1, 1993 to Dec. 4, 2019; Top of casing, 18.71 ft above National Geodetic Vertical Datum of 1929, Dec. 4, 2019 to May 18, 2022; Top of Casing, 19.206 ft above National Geodetic Vertical Datum of 1929, May 18, 2022 to present. Land-surface datum is 17.1 feet above North American Vertical Datum of 1988.
PERIOD OF RECORD - February 1975 to January 1979 (daily), May 1988 to January 1993 (intermittent), February 1993 to November 2024.
GAGE - Electronic data logger.
COOPERATION - South Florida Water Management District.
REMARKS - Station reconstructed in February 1993. Well depth cannot be sounded below 54.5 ft because of gravel pack.
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD - Highest water level measured, 16.28 ft NGVD, Oct. 20, 1983; lowest recorded, 5.68 ft NGVD, June 26, 27, 2011.
