LOCATION - Lat 27°20'12.5", long 81°48'24.0" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, in NW 1/4 NW 1/4 sec.22, T.36 S., R.25 E., DeSoto County, FL, Hydrologic Unit 03100101, 200 ft east of U. S. Highway 17, and 1.0 mi south of Gardner.
GROUNDWATER RECORDS
WELL CHARACTERISTICS - Depth 478 ft. Upper casing diameter 5 in; top of first opening 137 ft, bottom of last opening 478 ft. Drilled, unused irrigation, artesian well.
DATUM - Land-surface datum is 62.58 ft above National Geodetic Vertical Datum of 1929 and 61.54 ft above North American Vertical Datum of 1988. Measuring point: Top of casing, 65.70 ft above National Geodetic Vertical Datum of 1929, Jun. 18, 1962 to Apr. 23, 2008; Top of casing, 65.62 ft above National Geodetic Vertical Datum of 1929, Apr. 23, 2008 to present.
PERIOD OF RECORD - November 1962 to current year. Records of water levels prior to January 1974 are not published but are available in files of the Geological Survey.
GAGE - Water-stage recorder--15-minute interval.
COOPERATION - This gage is monitored in cooperation with Southwest Florida Water Management District.
