LOCATION - Lat 27°28'39.0", long 82°14'20.8" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, in SE 1/4 NE 1/4 sec.31, T.34 S., R.21 E., Manatee County, FL, Hydrologic Unit 03100102, 0.2 mi north of State Highway 64, and 1.6 mi east of Bethany.
REVISIONS HISTORY - All datum elevations and field measurements above NGVD 1929 and NAVD 1988 prior to April 5, 2022 were revised on June 29, 2022 based on more accurate datum elevations.
GROUNDWATER RECORDS
WELL CHARACTERISTICS - Depth 1,123 ft. Upper casing diameter 8 in; top of first opening 208 ft, bottom of last opening 1,123 ft. Drilled, unused irrigation, artesian well.
DATUM - Land-surface datum is 103.70 ft above National Geodetic Vertical Datum of 1929 and 102.81 ft above North American Vertical Datum of 1988. Measuring point: Top of shelter floor, 106.70 ft above National Geodetic Vertical Datum of 1929, May. 1, 1978 to present.
PERIOD OF RECORD - June 1978 to July 2023 (discontinued).
GAGE - Water-stage recorder--15-minute interval.
COOPERATION - This gage is monitored in cooperation with the Southwest Florida Water Management District.
REMARKS - Water level affected by pumping of nearby irrigation wells.
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD - Highest water level, 32.00 ft NGVD 29, Aug. 20, 1978; lowest, -28.19 ft NGVD 29, May 20, 2000.
