273126082384700 MANATEE RIVER NEAR MOUTH AT PALMA SOLA, FL.
LOCATION - Lat 27°31'26", long 82°38'47" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, in SE 1/4 sec.13, T.34 S., R.16 E., Manatee County, FL, Hydrologic Unit 03100202, on left bank of private dock, 500 ft. downstream from the De Soto National Memorial Park, and near mouth of the Manatee River.
DRAINAGE AREA - Indeterminate.
REVISIONS HISTORY - WDR-US-2008 extremes for period of record specific conductance top sensor maximum was published in error.
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - May 2004 to September 2010 (tidal high-high and low-low gage heights only); October 2010 to September 2015 (maximum and minimum gage heights only) discontinued.
GAGE - Water-stage recorder. Datum of gage is North American Vertical Datum of 1988.
COOPERATION - This gage is monitored in cooperation with the Southwest Florida Water Management District.
REMARKS - Gage height at this site is significantly affected by astronomical tides. The extremes for periods published previously as tidal high-high and low-low gage heights are equivalent to maximum and minimum gage heights.
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD - Maximum gage height, 2.82 ft, Sept. 26, 2004; minimum, 3.34 ft below NAVD 88, Jan. 1, 2008.
WATER-QUALITY RECORDS

COOPERATION - This gage is monitored in cooperation with the Southwest Florida Water Management District.
INSTRUMENTATION - Water-quality monitors consisting of specific conductance and temperature senors located approximately 2.9 ft and 4.5 ft below NAVD 88.
REMARKS - Top sensor comes out of water at times during extreme low tides.

TEMPERATURE: Top sensor maximum, 34.5°C, Aug. 23, 24, 25, 2015; bottom sensor maximum, 35.2°C, Aug. 12, 2005; top sensor minimum, 7.4°C, Jan. 12, 2010; bottom sensor minimum, 6.7°C, Jan. 11, 2010.
