LOCATION - Lat 27°58'17", long 82°44'04" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, in SW 1/4 SE 1/4 sec.7, T.29 S., R.16 E., Pinellas County, FL, Hydrologic Unit 03100206, 1.1 mi north of State Highway 60, and 4.0 mi east of Clearwater.
GROUNDWATER RECORDS
WELL CHARACTERISTICS - Depth 299 ft. Upper casing diameter 10 in; top of first opening 81 ft, bottom of last opening 299 ft.
DATUM - Land-surface datum is 33.64 ft above National Geodetic Vertical Datum of 1929 and 32.78 ft above North American Vertical Datum of 1988. Measuring point: Top of recorder shelter floor, 36.61 ft above National Geodetic Vertical Datum of 1929, Jan. 1, 1954 to Jun. 8, 2022; Notches on lip of concrete at shelter floor, 36.46 ft above National Geodetic Vertical Datum of 1929, Jun. 8, 2022 to present.
PERIOD OF RECORD - June 1954 to current year. Records of water levels prior to January 1974 are not published but are available in files of the Geological Survey.
GAGE - Water-stage recorder--15-minute interval.
COOPERATION - This gage is monitored in cooperation with Southwest Florida Water Management District.
REMARKS - Water level affected by pumping of nearby wells.
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD - Highest water level, 14.79 ft NGVD 29, Sept. 15, 1959; lowest, 5.02 ft NGVD 29, May 31, 2006.
