LOCATION - Lat 28°05'48.5", long 82°35'56.9" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, in SW 1/4 NW 1/4 NW 1/4 sec.34, T.27 S., R.17 E., Hillsborough County, FL, Hydrologic Unit 03100206, at Cosme Water Plant, 1.2 mi west of State Highway 587, and 2.0 mi northwest of Citrus Park.
REVISIONS HISTORY - WDR FL-75-3: 1975.
GROUNDWATER RECORDS
WELL CHARACTERISTICS - Depth 1,200 ft. Upper casing diameter 10 in; top of first opening 656 ft, bottom of last opening 1,200 ft. Drilled, observation, artesian well.
DATUM - Land-surface datum is 41.23 ft above National Geodetic Vertical Datum of 1929. Measuring point: Top of recorder shelter floor, 1.60 ft above land-surface datum, UNDEFINED BEGIN DATE to present. Land-surface datum is 40.00 ft. above North American Vertical Datum of 1988.
PERIOD OF RECORD - April 1972 to September 2012 (discontinued). Records of water levels prior to January 1974 are not published but are available in files of the Geological Survey.
GAGE - Water-stage recorder--60-minute interval.
COOPERATION - This gage is monitored in cooperation with Southwest Florida Water Management District.
REMARKS - Water level affected by pumping of nearby wells.
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD - Highest daily maximum water level, 32.14 ft NGVD, Oct. 1, 1979, August 27, 2012; lowest, 13.18 ft NGVD, June 1, 2000.
