LOCATION - Lat 28°15'59.9", long 82°26'45.5" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, in SE 1/4 SE 1/4 NW 1/4 sec.31, T.25 S., R.19 E., Pasco County, FL, Hydrologic Unit 03100205, 300 ft southeast of State Highway 583, and 1.9 mi northeast of Drexel.
REVISIONS HISTORY - Groundwater level of 64.77 ft above NGVD 1929, measured on Sep. 6, 1977, was revised on May 26, 2020, due to calculation error. All datum elevations and field measurements above NGVD 1929 and NAVD 1988 prior to June 1, 2022 were revised on July 12, 2022 based on more accurate datum elevations.
GROUNDWATER RECORDS
WELL CHARACTERISTICS - Depth 49 ft. Upper casing diameter 6 in; top of first opening 43 ft, bottom of last opening 49 ft. Drilled, unused irrigation, artesian well.
DATUM - Land-surface datum is 80.24 ft above National Geodetic Vertical Datum of 1929 and 79.40 ft above North American Vertical Datum of 1988. Measuring point: Top of shelter floor, 82.43 ft above National Geodetic Vertical Datum of 1929, Oct. 19, 1960 to present.
PERIOD OF RECORD - March to September 1934; February 1936 to April 1950 (periodic); June 1951 to current year. Records of water levels prior to January 1974 are not published but are available in files of the Geological Survey.
GAGE - Water-stage recorder--15-minute interval.
COOPERATION - This gage is monitored in cooperation with Southwest Florida Water Management District.
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD - Highest water level, 76.84 ft NGVD, July 31, 1960; lowest, 67.69 ft NGVD, May 27, 2001.
