LOCATION - Lat 28°45'50.5", long 82°34'53.6" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, in NW 1/4 NW 1/4 sec.11, T.20 S., R.17 E., Citrus County, FL, Hydrologic Unit 03100207, on Burnt Bridge Road, 2.3 mi southeast of Homosassa, and 1.8 mi west of U.S. Highway 19.
REVISIONS HISTORY - All datum elevations and field measurements above NGVD 1929 and NAVD 1988 prior to June 9, 2022 were revised on August 4, 2022 based on more accurate datum elevations.
GROUNDWATER RECORDS
WELL CHARACTERISTICS - Depth 99 ft. Upper casing diameter 3 in; top of first opening 82 ft, bottom of last opening 99 ft. Drilled, observation, artesian well.
DATUM - Land-surface datum is 6.36 ft above National Geodetic Vertical Datum of 1929 and 5.07 ft above North American Vertical Datum of 1988. Measuring point: Top of casing, 9.36 ft above National Geodetic Vertical Datum of 1929, Sep. 1, 1965 to present.
PERIOD OF RECORD - May 1966 to September 1990, January 1997 (periodic); February 1997 to September 1998; October 2003 to current year. Records of water levels prior to January 1974 are not published but are available in files of the Geological Survey.
GAGE - Water-stage recorder--15-minute interval.
COOPERATION - This gage is monitored in cooperation with the Southwest Florida Water Management District.
REMARKS - Water level affected by tidal fluctuations.
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD - Highest water level, 6.07 ft NGVD 29, Sept. 2, 2016; lowest, 2.44 ft NGVD 29, Apr. 18, 2009.
