LOCATION - Lat 29°29'19.18", long 82°58'30.86" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, in sec.26, T.11 S., R.13 E., Levy County, FL, Hydrologic Unit 03110205, on north end of Hickory Loop, 0.6 mi northeast of Manatee Spring State Park entrance, 5.5 mi northeast of U.S. Highway 19, 7 mi southeast of Chiefland.
GROUNDWATER RECORDS
WELL CHARACTERISTICS - Depth 99 ft. Upper casing diameter 6 in; top of first opening 58 ft, bottom of last opening 99 ft.
DATUM - Land-surface datum is 16 ft above National Geodetic Vertical Datum of 1929. Measuring point: top of shelter floor, 16.65 ft above National Geodetic Vertical Datum of 1929, May 22, 2009 to present.
PERIOD OF RECORD - April 2014 to current year.
GAGE - Water-stage recorder and data-collection platform--15-minute interval.
COOPERATION - This gage is monitored in cooperation with the Suwannee River Water Management District.
REMARKS - Previously maintained by Suwannee River Water Management District. Elevation data used to compute Head Difference, for the computation of discharge at Manatee Springs near Chiefland, FL (02323566). Well soundings indicate that the well is currently 23 ft deep as of May 19, 2015. See well characteristics. 
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD - Highest water level, 9.92 ft above NGVD of 1929, May 5, 2014; lowest, 1.30 ft above NGVD of 1929, Dec. 10, 2016.
