LOCATION - Lat 30°18'29", long 88°35'02" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, Jackson County, MS, Hydrologic Unit 03170009, St. Stephens Meridian, on the USGS Round Island Light platform, in the Mississippi Sound.
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - GAGE HEIGHT: January 2009 to current year.
COOPERATION - This monitoring station is operated in cooperation with the Mississippi Department of Marine Resources.
REMARKS - 10/01/2013-09/30/2014: Gage height records good.
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD - GAGE HEIGHT: Maximum recorded, 7.48 ft, Aug. 29, 2012, but may have been higher during periods of instrument malfunction; minimum recorded, -1.13 ft, Dec. 13, 2010, but may have been lower during periods of instrument malfunction.

REMARKS - Specific conductance records fair. Water temperature records excellent. Interruptions in the record were due to malfunctions of the instrument.
