LOCATION - Lat 32°58'17", long 90°46'42" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, in sec.14, T.13 N., R.6 W., Sharkey County, MS, Hydrologic Unit 08030207, in NE 1/4 SE 1/4 sec.14, T.13 N., R.6 W., Choctaw Meridian, located in right downstream floodplain, south of southwest end of Hwy 14 Bridge 19.4 over Big Sunflower River, just north of boat ramp, about 3 miles east of Anguilla, and just east of Golf Course.
REVISIONS HISTORY - Revisions:
325817090464201 125C2027 SHARKEY (Anguilla) Groundwater Level, ft above NAVD88, was revised from 2020-01-14 to 2023-04-28.
All data during and after this period has been deemed unusable and deleted. The well is no longer connected to the aquifer, likely due to sediment filling- based on well integrity test and water level frequently being above land surface.

Measuring point: MP CENTER OF WATER LEVEL GAUGE 2.70 FT ABOVE LSD, 2.7 ft above land-surface datum, Jul. 13, 2010 to Aug. 17, 2021; top of Y-fitting bushing set directly on top of 1-inch PVC-casing, about 2 feet below DCP platform, 4.48 ft above land-surface datum, Sep. 23, 2014 to present.
PERIOD OF RECORD - Ground water level measurements on Sep 05, and Sep 29, 2010, Continuous record Oct 04, 2010 to Oct 03, 2011 (Depth Below Land Surface only) and Sep 23, 2014 to Jan. 22, 2020.
GAGE - Water-level recorder. Land surface altitude: 89.68 feet above assumed NAVD 88 (originally tied into NGVD 29 in 2010), levels needed to update datum. Recorder is fixed to a wooden platform at well, about 6 feet above ground, located in downstream right flood plain.
COOPERATION - U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Vicksburg District
REMARKS - Ground water-level and water-temperature records are considered good, except for missing periods due to instrument malfunctions or flooding, and are not estimated or gap filled over 120 minutes.
