LOCATION - Lat 33°59'17.2", long 90°55'34.2" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, in NE 1/4 NW 1/4 sec.04, T.24 N., R.7 W., Bolivar County, MS, Hydrologic Unit 08030207, Choctaw Meridian, just south of Bunge Road (before north turn to airfield, 1 mile east of levee), about 1.5 miles west of Hwy 1 crossroad (about 1 mile northeast of Perthshire, ~2 miles northeast of Hwy 32 or ~10 miles northeast of Rosedale), well is located about 1 mile west of Bogue Phalia headwaters.  Bogue Phalia begins in Bolivar County about ½-mile northeast of Perthshire or about 2 miles east of the Mississippi River levee.
GROUNDWATER RECORDS
WELL CHARACTERISTICS - Depth 125 ft. Upper casing diameter 16 in; top of first opening undefined, bottom of last opening undefined. Measuring point is top edge of 1-inch hole in plywood floor of shelter, set on top of 24-inch pipe over an 18-inch inactive irrigation well.
DATUM - Land-surface datum is 156.98 ft above North American Vertical Datum of 1988. Measuring point: top edge of 1" hole in plywood floor of shelter, 2.97 ft above land-surface datum, Dec. 1, 1955 to present.
PERIOD OF RECORD - Water-level measurements Dec 01, 1955, and June 26, 2008 to present.
GAGE - Water-level recorder. Land surface altitude: 156.98 feet above NAVD 88, GPS or levels needed to verify datum. Water-level recorder is fixed to plywood floor on top of inactive irrigation well, inside metal shelter, about 3 feet above ground, located in cultivated agriculture field, about 300 feet south of Bunge Road.

REMARKS - Jun 26, 2008 to current, water level records good. Missing periods due to intermittent malfunctions are not estimated or gap filled over 120 minutes.
