LOCATION - Lat 34°58'30.7", long 81°03'31.7" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, York County, SC, Hydrologic Unit 03050103, about 3.0 miles northwest of the City of Rock Hill, near the intersection of SC Hwy 274 (Ebenezer Road) and SC Hwy 161 (Celanese Road).

REVISIONS HISTORY -

Revisions: Groundwater levels for the period January 31, 2022, to March 14, 2022, were revised on June 14, 2022, because the measuring point correction length was incorrect. Previous (erroneous) MP correction length was 2.90 ft above LSD.

Groundwater levels for the period March 7-14, 2022, were revised on June 14, 2022, based on an error in slope in the original published values.

The station name was changed on August 31, 2023, which was originally YRK-3296 YORK COUNTY AIRPORT REGOLITH.

Revisions: The water-level time-series was revised on November 2, 2023, by the LDM in order to fix segments of data affected by an incorrect offset, which had been programmed into the submersible pressure transducer during the field visit on March 13, 2023. The correct offset was programmed into the transducer during the field visit on August 18, 2023. The LDM created a calculation processor on the incoming DCP.RAW dataset which allowed the erroneous data to be adjusted to the correct water-level depth on November 2, 2023.

Measuring point was raised after resetting protective cap in concrete on 01/27/2022 after gage was destroyed on 01/23/2022, 3.87 ft above land-surface datum, Jan. 28, 2022 to present. Land-surface datum is 678.07 ft above North American Vertical Datum of 1988. Measuring point: Three hacksaw marks in Rim of steel protective housing, 3.87 ft ab LSD: 01/28/2022 to Present. Top of casing, 3.25 ft above land-surface datum, Aug. 26, 2011, to Jan. 28, 2022.
