LOCATION - Lat 35°05'06", long 89°48'31" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, Shelby County, TN, Hydrologic Unit 08010211, at Germantown, TN, 0.2 mile southwest of Poplar Pike, 50 yards northwest of water tower. Owner: City of Germantown, TN.
GROUNDWATER RECORDS
WELL CHARACTERISTICS - Depth 309 ft. Upper casing diameter 10 in; top of first opening 253 ft, bottom of last opening 303 ft. Drilled artesian observation well, diameter 10 to 6 in.
DATUM - Land-surface datum is 375 ft above National Geodetic Vertical Datum of 1929. Measuring point: Top of Inside Shelter, 1.60 ft above land-surface datum, May 19, 1964 to present. Measuring point: Inside top of recorder shelter base plate.
PERIOD OF RECORD - October 1990 to current period. 
GAGE - Data Collection Platform--60-minute interval.
REMARKS - Records fair. Water level affected by pumping for municipal water supply at Germantown.
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD - Highest water level, 143.59 ft below land-surface datum, Oct. 3, 1994; lowest, 170.35 ft below land-surface datum, Sept. 3, 2007.
