LOCATION - Lat 35°14'29.3", long 85°00'36.0" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, Hamilton County, TN, Hydrologic Unit 06020001, at Smith Road and State Highway 58, near Snow Hill, TN. Owner: Savannah Valley Utility District.
GROUNDWATER RECORDS
WELL CHARACTERISTICS - Depth 262 ft. Upper casing diameter 10 in; top of first opening 50 ft, bottom of last opening 262 ft. Drilled artesian test well, diameter 10 in., depth 262 ft., cased to 50 ft. with steel casing, open hole below casing.
DATUM - Land-surface datum is 743.28 ft above National Geodetic Vertical Datum of 1929. Measuring point: MP ACTUALLY ~1.6' ALS, BUT 5.66' VALUE HAS BEEN IN PLACE SINCE 1994, SO LEFT IT AS CURRENT MP, 5.66 ft above land-surface datum, Sep. 2, 2008 to present. Elevation of land-surface datum is 743.28 ft above NGVD of 1929, from levels. Measuring point: Instrument shelf, 5.66 ft above land-surface datum.
PERIOD OF RECORD - May 1975 to current year.
GAGE - Water-level recorder -- 60-min. recording interval, Aug. 5, 1974, until Dec. 19, 2007.
