LOCATION - Lat 35°32'18", long 77°15'41" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, Pitt County, NC, Hydrologic Unit 03020103, 2.7 mi southwest of Simpson at intersection of Secondary Roads 1755 and 1769.
GROUNDWATER RECORDS
WELL CHARACTERISTICS - Depth 10.9 ft. Upper casing diameter 6.0 in; top of first opening 5.9 ft, bottom of last opening 10.9 ft.
DATUM - Land-surface datum is 55.02 ft above North American Vertical Datum of 1988. Measuring point: Top of instrument shelf, 3.72 ft above land-surface datum, Oct. 4, 1992, to present.
PERIOD OF RECORD - December 1976 to current year.
GAGE - Water-level recorder collecting data at 60-minute intervals. Satellite telemetry at station.
REMARKS - Well is part of North Carolina Department of Environment and Natural Resources groundwater network and measured as part of the National Water Quality Assessment (NAWQA) Program.
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD - Highest water level recorded, 0.55 ft below land-surface datum, September 16, 1999; lowest water level recorded, 8.97 ft below land-surface datum, October 23, 24, 2007.
