LOCATION - Lat 36°05'20.9", long 85°43'26.0" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, Putnam County, TN, Hydrologic Unit 05130108, Latitude 35 05 20.9, longitude 85 43 26.0 referenced to NAD83. Putnam County, HUC 05130108. Located on south side of east bound entrance ramp, I-40, Exit 273 - Highway 56. Well is located about 12 feet north of property fence. Land owned by Tenn. Department of Transportation.
GROUNDWATER RECORDS
WELL CHARACTERISTICS - Depth 175 ft. Upper casing diameter 6.25 in; top of first opening 60 ft, bottom of last opening 175 ft. Cased to 60 feet below land surface with 6.25-inch steel casing. Open hole from 60 feet to 175 feet below land surface.
DATUM - Land-surface datum is 1,034.7 ft above North American Vertical Datum of 1988. Measuring point: Filed mark east side, top of 6-inch casing -- destroyed, 0 ft above land-surface datum, Oct. 5, 1989 to Dec. 19, 2012; Below land surface. Top of 6-in steel casing, SE side, between chisel marks, 0.3 ft below land-surface datum, Dec. 18, 2012 to present. MP elevation determined by GNSS Level II RTN survey. MP Elevation = 1,034.32 ft NAVD88.
PERIOD OF RECORD - Continuous water levels March 1968 to November 1998, May 2012 to December 2012, and July 2016 to present.
GAGE - Transducer suspended on vented cable. Data collection was set at a 60-minute interval on July 14, 2016 to 10/22/2018. On 10/22/2018 @ 08:00 the dcp was reset to collect on 15-minute intervals until the present. Transducer is connected to a Data Collection Platform that is mounted on a post 6 ft south of the well at the Right of Way fence line.
