REVISIONS HISTORY -
Revisions: Land-surface datum was updated to 270.38 ft NAVD88 on May 22, 2023, as determined by a GNSS survey by Missouri DNR. Land-surface datum was previously published as 270 ft NAVD88 from topographic map. Discrete water-level measurements prior to May 22, 2023, are referenced to the original datum.

On January 3, 2012, the period from August 29, 2007 to December 9, 2009 was set to 'Working' status after it had previously been set to 'Approved' status. A -1.2 ft measuring point height correction was applied to the period to reference the water levels to land surface instead of the measuring point to which it was previously referenced. DATUM - Land-surface datum is 270.38 ft above North American Vertical Datum of 1988. Measuring point: DNR DCP platform shelf, 1.2 ft above land-surface datum, Aug. 29, 2007 to present.  
PERIOD OF RECORD - August 29, 2007 to present.
GAGE - August 29, 2007 to present; recorder is a DCP with telemetry capability; the water level recording device is a float and encoder.
COOPERATION - Data furnished by Missouri Department of Natural Resources (MDNR). Records processed by USGS and MDNR.
REMARKS - Data from August 29, 2007 to December 09, 2009 good based on 6 water level measuremenets made during this period to verify recorded water levels. The record from 12/10/2009 to 08/02/2010 is good based on 3 water level measurements made during the period to verify the recorded data and is accurate to +/- 0.05 ft. The record from 08/03/2010 to 06/01/2011 is good based on 3 water level measurements made during the period to verify the recorded data and is accurate to +/- 0.05 ft. The record from 06/01/2011 to 09/10/2012 is good based on 4 water level measurements made during the period to verify the recorded data and is accurate to +/- 0.05 ft. The record from 09/11/2012 to 08/20/2013 is good based on 4 water level measurements made during the period to verify the recorded data and is accurate to +/- 0.05 ft.
