LOCATION - Lat 36°18'30", long 76°16'31" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, Pasquotank County, NC, Hydrologic Unit 03010205, 1.2 mi west of Secondary Road 1307, on Secondary Road 1309, 3 mi northwest of Elizabeth City.
REVISIONS HISTORY - WDR-US-2008, period of record, recorded highest water level.
GROUNDWATER RECORDS
WELL CHARACTERISTICS - Depth 12.6 ft. Upper casing diameter 4 in; top of first opening 2.4 ft, bottom of last opening 12.4 ft.
DATUM - Land-surface datum is 12 ft above North American Vertical Datum of 1988. Measuring point: top of 4-inch PVC coupling, 2.65 ft above land-surface datum, Sep. 17, 1991 to Aug. 1, 2003; top of instrument shelf, 3.38 ft above land-surface datum, Aug. 1, 2003 to present.
PERIOD OF RECORD - October 1991 to current year.
GAGE - Water-level recorder collecting data at 15 minute intervals. The land surface datum of the gage is 12.0 ft above NAVD88 NAD83 (2011) geoid 09 as determined by a level II real-time GNSS survey performed on March 14, 2013. Satellite telemetry at station.
REMARKS - Well is replacement for NC-143 (station number 361828076163401), which was destroyed. Well is part of North Carolina Department of Environment and Natural Resources groundwater network.
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD - Highest water level recorded, 1.03 ft above land-surface datum, October 9, 2016; lowest water level recorded, 6.47 ft below land-surface datum, October 30, 2008.
