LOCATION - Lat 36°22'31", long 79°41'08" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, Rockingham County, NC, Hydrologic Unit 03010103, 0.2 mi north of Wentworth Road (Secondary Road 1998), 0.5 mi west of U.S. Highways 158/29, and 1.5 mi northwest of Reidsville.
GROUNDWATER RECORDS
WELL CHARACTERISTICS - Depth 38 ft. Upper casing diameter 4 in; top of first opening 23 ft, bottom of last opening 38 ft.
DATUM - Land-surface datum is 705.16 ft above National Geodetic Vertical Datum of 1929. Measuring point: Floor of instrument shelf, 3.00 ft above land-surface datum, Jan. 22, 2009 to present.
PERIOD OF RECORD - May 2002 to October 2009, March 2014 to current year.
GAGE - Measured periodically by USGS and North Carolina Division of Environment and Natural Resources.
