GROUNDWATER RECORDS
DATUM - Land-surface datum is 836.92 ft above North American Vertical Datum of 1988. Measuring point: unknown, 1.7 ft above land-surface datum, Jan. 1, 1931 to present; unknown, 831.7 ft above land-surface datum, Jan. 1, 1931 to present.
PERIOD OF RECORD - July 15, 1962 to present.
GAGE - The water level recording devices include; Stevens model A-35 chart recorder installed May 2, 1962. Stevens model 7001 digital recorder installed August 8, 1988. DCP with telemetry capability installed January 24, 2001. Float and float wheel/encoder was used as the water level measuring device from May 2, 1962 to June 29, 2005. A vented, submersible pressure transducer has been used as the water level measuring device from June 29, 2005 to present.
COOPERATION - Data furnished by Missouri Department of Natural Resources (MDNR), except for the period 08/08/1989 to 10/08/1991 which was furnished by the USGS. Record furnished by MDNR except for the periods periods 06/06/1980 to 07/16/1987, 09/07/1989 to 10/08/1991; and 01/24/2001 to present which is furnished by the USGS.
REMARKS -

Record from 05/01/1962 to 01/24/2001 is furnished by Missouri Department of Natural Resources (MDNR), except for the periods 06/06/1980 to 07/16/1987; 08/08/1988 to 10/08/1991; and 01/24/2001 to present which is furnished by the USGS. The record from 06/06/1980 to 07/16/1987 was processed from A-35 strip charts that were photographed and digitized. Twenty four water level measurements were available to verify the data. This record is fair. Thirty-one water level measurements data are available for the period 08/08/1988 to 10/08/1991 to verify the record. This record is poor because of numerous timer, ADR, and float sticking problems. Water level measurements for the remaining period until 01/24/2001 are unavailable and are archived by MDNR. The 5 day average data found between August of 1981 to July of 1983 was deleted since it was nearly a flat line during the entire period and did not fluctuate. Record from unit values between the time period 08/08/1988 to 10/08/1991 is considered poor0 ft. All other record, including the furnished record, is considered fair. Furnished data from May 1, 1962 to June 1, 1980 is fair. No field data (strip charts, ADR tapes, or water level meaurements) are available for this period. Data appears to be good but no way to verify the accuracy. Data from 01/24/2001 to 09/30/2008 is fair based on 9 water level measurements made during the period to verify the recorded data and is accurate to +/- 0.2 ft. Data from 10/01/2008 to 02/24/2010 is good based on 4 water level measurements made during the period to verify the recorded data and is accurate to +/- 0.1 ft. The record from 02/24/2010 to 10/05/2010 is good based on 3 water level measurements made during the period to verify the recorded data and is accurate to +/- 0.1 ft. The record from 10/05/2010 to 10/11/2011 is good based on 3 water level measurements made during the period to verify the recorded data and is accurate to +/- 0.05 ft. The record from 10/12/2011 to 06/11/2012 is good based on 3 water level measurements made during the period to verify the recorded data and is accurate to +/- 0.05 ft. The record from 06/12/2012 to 10/08/2013 is fair based on 2 water levels made during the period to verify the recorded data and ia accurate to +/- 0.10 ft. Pressure transducer starting to drift over time. The record from 10/09/2013 to 01/13/2015 is fair based on 4 water levels made during the period to verify the recorded data and is accurate to +/- 0.30 ft. The pressure transducer drifts over time. The depth of the borehole and water that percolated through the sides of the borehole may decrease the accuracy of the measurements. The record from 01/14/2015 to 04/25/2016 is fair based on 2 water level measurements made during the period to verify the recorded data and is accurate to +/- 0.30 ft. The pressure transducer drifts over time. The depth of the borehole and water that percolated through the sides of the borehole may decrease the accuracy of the measurements. The record from 04/26/2016 to 10/04/2016 is fair based on 1 water level measurement made during the period to verify the recorded data and is accurate to +/- 0.30 ft. The pressure transducer drifts over time. The depth of the borehole and water that percolated through the sides of the borehole may decrease the accuracy of the measurements.

The record from 10/05/2016 to 08/13/2017 is fair based on 5 water level measurement made during the period to verify the recorded data and is accurate to +/- 0.20 ft. The pressure transducer drifts over time. The depth of the borehole and water that percolated through the sides of the borehole may decrease the accuracy of the measurements. During this period the equipment went down 3 times. this limited the effectiveness of measured water levels to be used as a check for the record leading up to the measurement. The record from 08/13/2017 to 11/28/2017 is fair based on 2 water level measurement made during the period to verify the recorded data and is accurate to +/- 0.92 ft. The pressure transducer drifts over time. The depth of the borehole and water that percolated through the sides of the borehole may decrease the accuracy of the measurements. The record from 11/29/2017 to 03/12/2018 is poor based on 2 water level measurement made during the period to verify the recorded data and is accurate to +/- 0.1 ft. The poor rating is due to large periods of missing data when the equipment went down twice. Due to equipment malfunction the ability to check the accuracy of the water level measurements was limited. The record from 03/13/2018 to 09/18/2018 is good based on 1 water level measurement made during the period to verify the recorded data and is accurate to +/- 0.30 ft. The record from 09/19/2018 to 01/08/2019 is good based on 1 water level measurement made during the period to verify the recorded data and is accurate to +/- 0.20 ft. The record from 01/09/2019 to 08/25/2019 is good based on 1 water level measurement made during the period to verify the recorded data and is accurate to +/- 0.20 ft.
