USGS Water-Year Summary 2023
364006093200301 Silver Dollar City
Ozark Plateaus aquifer system
Canadian Series
LOCATION - Lat 36°40'05.4", long 93°20'02.1" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, in NE 1/4 SW 1/4 NE 1/4 sec.29, T.23 N., R.22 W., Stone County, MO, Hydrologic Unit 11010001,
REVISIONS HISTORY -
Revisions: Land-surface datum was updated to 1,108.63 ft NAVD88 on May 22, 2023, as determined by a GNSS Level II Survey. Land-surface datum was previously published as 1,102 ft NGVD29 from topographic map (furnished). Discrete water-level measurements prior to May 22, 2023, are referenced to the original datum.

The record from 07/14/2010 to 10/06/2010 was modified after it was set to 'Approved' status. A prorated correction from zero to 0.06 ft from 07/14/2010 to 10/06/2010 was removed. It was determined during the next site visit on 03/23/2011, that the reset on 10/06/2010 was unnecessary and the gage was reset back to the pre-10/06/2010 settings.
GROUNDWATER RECORDS
DATUM - Land-surface datum is 1,108.63 ft above North American Vertical Datum of 1988. Measuring point: unknown, 2.0 ft above land-surface datum, Jan. 1, 1973 to present.
PERIOD OF RECORD - March 7, 2007 to present.

COOPERATION - Data furnished by Missouri Department of Natural Resources (MDNR). Data processed by the USGS and MDNR.
REMARKS - Data from 03/07/2007 to 09/30/2008 has been processed by the USGS with limited field water level measurements (2 measurements) during the period to verify the recorded water levels. This record is considered fair. Data from 10/01/2008 to 04/26/2010 is good based on 5 water level measurements made during the period to verify the recorded data and is accurate to +/- 0.2 ft. Data from 04/26/2010 to 10/06/2010 is good based on 5 water level measurements made during the period to verify the recorded data and is accurate to +/- 0.1 ft. Data from 10/06/2010 to 07/12/2011 is good based on 3 water level measurements made during the period to verify the recorded data and is accurate to +/- 0.1 ft. This lack of accuracy is caused by using uncalibrated electric tapes and the gage being reset. Data from 07/12/2011 to 10/02/2012 is fair based on 4 water level measurements made during the period to verify the recorded data and is accurate to +/- 0.2 ft. The record from 10/03/2012 to 10/01/2013 is fair based on 4 water level measurements made during the period to verify the recorded data and is accurate to +/- 0.20 ft. The record from 10/02/2013 to 12/09/2014 is fair based on 4 water level measurements made during the period to verify the recorded data and is accurate to +/- 0.20 ft. The record from 12/10/2014 to 05/23/2016 is good based on 4 water level measurements made during the period to verify the recorded data and is accurate to +/- 0.10 ft. The record from 5/24/2016 to 3/29/2017 is fair based on 6 water level measurements made during the period to verify the recorded data is accurate to +/- 0.20 ft. The record from 03/30/2017 to 03/21/2018 is fair based on 3 water level measurements made during the period to verify the recorded data is accurate to +/- 0.10 ft. The record from 03/22/2018 to 08/14/2018 is fair based on 1 water level measurement made during the period to verify the recorded data and is accurate to +/- 0.10 ft. The fair rating is based on a large amount of missing data in August when the float was stuck. The record from 08/15/2018 to 12/10/2018 is fair based on 2 water level measurements made during the period to verify the recorded data and is accurate to +/- 0.30 ft. The record from 12/11/2018 to 04/30/2019 is fair based on 3 water level measurement made during the period to verify the recorded data and is accurate to +/- 0.20 ft. The record from 05/01/2019 to 01/15/2020 is good based on 1 water level measurement made during the period to verify the recorded data and is accurate to +/- 0.10 ft.
