  • Water-Year Summary reports summarize a year of hydrologic data in a printer-friendly format.
  • For water years 2014 onward, choose a water year and parameter and an on-demand Water-Year Summary report will be generated.
  • For water years 2006 through 2013, choose a water year and an Annual Water Data Report will be provided.
  • For water years 2005 and earlier, Annual Water Data Reports may be available in digital format.
  • Not all sites have reports available for every water year.

REVISIONS HISTORY - Revisions: Land-surface datum was updated to 1,150.00 ft NAVD88 on May 22, 2023, as determined by a GNSS survey by Missouri DNR. Land-surface datum was previously published as 1,146 ft NGVD29 from a topographic map. Discrete water-level measurements prior to May 22, 2023, are referenced to the original datum.
GROUNDWATER RECORDS
DATUM - Land-surface datum is 1,150 ft above North American Vertical Datum of 1988. Measuring point: DNR DCP platform shelf, 2.0 ft above land-surface datum, Jul. 1, 1938 to present.
PERIOD OF RECORD - June 3, 2009 to present.
GAGE - Water level measuring device is a float and encoder setting in metal box on top of casing. Water level recording device is a DCP with telemetry capability.
COOPERATION - From June 03, 2009 to present, data is furnished by the Missouri Department of Natural Resources (MDNR) and the data is processed by the USGS and MDNR.
REMARKS -

Data from June 3, 2009 to March 24, 2010 considered good based on the three water level measurements that were made during this time period. The record from 03/24/2010 to 07/14/2010 is good based on 2 water level measurements made during the period to verify the recorded data and is accurate to +/- 0.05 ft. The record from 07/14/2010 to 04/27/2011 is good based on 3 water level measurements made during the period to verify the recorded data. The record from 04/28/2011 to 07/20/2011 is poor. Water levels in the well rose about 90 ft during this period and receeded causing the float to stick throughout most of the period in spite of 8 field visits during the period to free the float. The gage was having counter weight and cable length problems and modifications were constantly having to be made. The data that is available during this period is accurate to +/- 0.3 ft. The record from 07/20/2011 to 08/13/2012 is good except for the record between July 20, 2011 and August 8, 2012 when the depth to water was greater than 352 ft which is poor. The counterweight would hit the DCP platform at depths greater than 352.6 ft causing the record to be in error during this period. The problem was solved on 08/08/2012, when 40 ft of cable was added to the counterweight side. The record less than 352 ft to water is accurate to +/-0.1 ft. The record from 08/14/2012 to 09/18/2013 is good based on 4 water level measurements made during the period to verify the recorded data and is accurate to +/- 0.10 ft The record from 09/19/2013 to 09/16/2014 is good based on 4 water level measurements made during the period to verify the recorded data and is accurate to +/- 0.05 ft. The record from 09/17/2014 to 07/27/2016 is good based on 4 water level measurements made during the period to verify the recorded data and is accurate to +/- 0.10 ft. The record from 07/28/2016 to 05/16/2017 is good based on 4 water level measurements made during the period to verify the recorded data and is accurate to +/- 0.20 ft. The equipment tends to drift frequently or measurements are difficult in this well which may cause inaccuracy. The record from 05/17/2017 to 11/15/2017 is good based on 1 water level measurement made during the period to verify the recorded data and is accurate to +/- 0.20 ft. The equipment tends to stick frequently possibly causing greater drift in the instrument. The record from 11/16/2017 to 05/01/2018 is good based on 1 water level measurement made during the period to verify the recorded data and is accurate to +/- 0.10 ft. The record from 05/02/2018 to 12/18/2018 is good based on 1 water level measurement made during the period to verify the recorded data and is accurate to +/- 0.25 ft. The record from 12/19/2018 to 02/26/2019 is fair based on 1 water level measurement made during the period to verify the recorded data and is accurate to +/- 0.10 ft. The fair rating was given due to a month of missing data after the float cracked and filled with water. The record from 02/27/2019 to 06/04/2019 is good based on 1 water level measurement made during the period to verify the recorded data and is accurate to +/- 0.10 ft. The record from 06/05/2019 to 12/02/2019 is good based on 1 water level measurement made during the period to verify the recorded data and is accurate to +/- 0.40 ft.
