GROUNDWATER RECORDS
DATUM - Land-surface datum is 1,027.46 ft above North American Vertical Datum of 1988. Measuring point: unknown, 1.8 ft above land-surface datum, Jan. 1, 1944 to present.
PERIOD OF RECORD - September 02, 2009 to present.
GAGE - From 09/02/2009 to present, DCP with telemetry capability. From 09/02/2009 to 10/28/2009, water level measuring device was a float and encoder. From 10/28/2009 to present, water level measuring device is a vented, submersible pressure transducer.
COOPERATION - All data from 09/02/2009 to present furnished by Missouri Department of Natural Resources (MDNR). All data from 09/02/2009 to present processed by USGS and MDNR.
REMARKS - Data from 09/02/2009 to 02/24/2010 has been processed by the USGS with limited field water level measurements (3 measurements) during the period to verify the recorded water levels. This record is good and accurate to +/- 0.1 ft. The record from 02/24/2010 to 08/10/2010 is good based on 3 water level measurements made during the period to verify the recorded data and is accurate to +/- 0.05 ft. The record from 08/10/2010 to 09/15/2011 is good based on 7 water level measurements made during the period to verify the recorded data and is accurate to +/- 0.05 ft. The record from 09/15/2011 to 08/06/2011 is good based on 4 water level measurements made during the period to verify the recorded data and is accurate to +/- 0.05 ft. The record from 08/07/2012 to 09/16/2013 is good based on 3 water level measurements made during the period to verify the recorded data and is accurate to +/- 0.10 ft. The record from 09/17/2013 to 12/08/2014 is fair based on 6 water level measurements made during the period to verify the recorded data and is accurate to +/- 0.50 ft. Sticking float up to 01/27/2013 and transducer drift after 01/27/2013. The record from 12/09/2014 to 04/20/2016 is fair based on 3 water level measurements made during the period to verify the recorded data and is accurate to +/- 0.40 ft. The record from 04/21/2016 to 07/13/2016 is fair based on 1 water level measurements made during the period to verify the recorded data and is accurate to +/- 0.40 ft. The record from 07/14/2016 to 02/13/2017 is good based on 1 water level measurements made during the period to verify the recorded data and is accurate to +/- 0.10 ft. The record from 02/14/2017 to 06/26/2018 is fair based on 5 water level measurements made during the period to verify the recorded data and is accurate to +/- 0.30 ft. Fair rating is based on a large data gap from March through June 2018 when the pressure transducer was out of range. The record from 06/27/2018 to 07/11/2018 is fair based on 1 water level measurement made during the period to verify the recorded data and is accurate to +/- 0.05 ft. The fair rating is due to several gaps in data during this short period. The record from 07/12/2018 to 01/08/2019 is good based on 1 water level measurement made during the period to verify the recorded data and is accurate to +/- 0.30 ft. The record from 01/09/2019 to 06/04/2019 is good based on 1 water level measurement made during the period to verify the recorded data and is accurate to +/- 0.30 ft. The record from 06/05/2019 to 01/14/2020 is fair based on 2 water level measurements made during the period to verify the recorded data and is accurate to +/- 3.0 ft. The fair rating is due to several weeks of missing data at the beginning of the period and the large correction necessary for the site visit.
