LOCATION - Lat 37°25'35.52", long 76°58'12.79" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, New Kent County, VA, Hydrologic Unit 02080206, northwest of intersection of U.S. Highway 60 and State Highway 647, 4.3 mi east of Providence Forge. Owner: Virginia Department of Environmental Quality.
GROUNDWATER RECORDS
WELL CHARACTERISTICS - Depth 23.8 ft. Upper casing diameter 4.5 in; top of first opening 9.9 ft, bottom of last opening 23.8 ft.
DATUM - Land-surface datum is 29 ft above National Geodetic Vertical Datum of 1929. Measuring point: TOP OF CASING, 2.90 ft above land-surface datum, May 11, 2011 to present.
PERIOD OF RECORD - November 2010 to current year.
GAGE - Electronic data logger and pressure transducer, 15-minute record interval.
COOPERATION - Records provided by the Virginia Department of Environmental Quality - Water Division.
REMARKS - Well is located in Columbia aquifer of Quaternary age.
