LOCATION - Lat 37°52'12.79", long 76°19'02.96" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, Northumberland County, VA, Hydrologic Unit 02080102, 2 mi east of intersection of U.S. Highway 360 and State Highway 200, 3 mi west of Reedville.
GROUNDWATER RECORDS
WELL CHARACTERISTICS - Depth 823.66 ft. Upper casing diameter 3 in; top of first opening 783.66 ft, bottom of last opening 823.66 ft. Drilled observation water well, screened 783.66 to 823.66 ft.
DATUM - Land-surface datum is 110 ft above National Geodetic Vertical Datum of 1929. Measuring point: TOP OF CASING, 2.11 ft above land-surface datum, May 20, 2010 to present.
PERIOD OF RECORD - May 2010 to current year.
GAGE - Electronic data logger and pressure transducer, 15-minute record interval.
COOPERATION - Records provided by the Virginia Department of Environmental Quality - Water Division.
REMARKS - Well is located in Brightseat-Upper Potomac aquifer of Cretaceous-Paleocene age. Water level affected by regional drawdown.
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD - Highest water level recorded, 152.58 ft below land-surface datum, May 20, 2010; lowest recorded, 159.61 ft below land-surface datum, Sept. 2, 2016.
