LOCATION - Lat 37°59'46.6", long 85°58'55.0" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, Hardin County, KY, Hydrologic Unit 05140104, Ft. Knox quadrangle, 150 ft south of gravel road that parallels Ohio River, between pump wells No. 7 and No. 8.
GROUNDWATER RECORDS
WELL CHARACTERISTICS - Depth 118.3 ft. Upper casing diameter 2.0 in; top of first opening 108.3 ft, bottom of last opening 118.3 ft.
DATUM - Land-surface datum is 429.64 ft above National Geodetic Vertical Datum of 1929. Measuring point: Top of casing, 2.50 ft above land-surface datum, April 22, 2010, to present; Undefined, 3.50 ft above land-surface datum, Sep. 25, 2014, to present.
PERIOD OF RECORD - April 2010 to current year.
GAGE - Continuous recorder, 30-minute interval.
REMARKS - Ft. Knox project monitoring well. Water levels affected by river stage and nearby pumping.
