LOCATION - Lat 38°04'34.6", long 90°28'10.4" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, in SW 1/4 NW 1/4 SW 1/4 sec.22, T.39 N., R.5 E., Jefferson County, MO, Hydrologic Unit 07140101,
REVISIONS HISTORY - Revisions: Land-surface datum was revised to 790.19 ft NAVD88 on Oct. 4, 2023, as determined by a GNSS survey by Missouri DNR. Land-surface datum was previously published in error as 780 ft NAVD88 from topographic map. Discrete water-level measurements referenced to NGVD29 and NAVD88 were revised, based on changes to the land-surface datum.
GROUNDWATER RECORDS
DATUM - Land-surface datum is 790.19 ft above North American Vertical Datum of 1988. Measuring point: unknown, 4.0 ft above land-surface datum, May. 10, 2002 to present.  
PERIOD OF RECORD - August 08, 2000 to present.
GAGE - August 08,2000 to May 10, 2001; float driven A-35 strip chart. May 10, 2001 to April 10, 2007; DCP with float, encoder, and telemetry capability was installed as the water level recording device. April 11, 2007 to present DCP with vented, submersible pressure transducer and telementry capability.
COOPERATION - Data furnished by Missouri Department of Natural Resources (MDNR). Records processed by USGS and MDNR.
REMARKS - Data from 08/08/2000 to May 10, 2001 are daily values only which was processed by MDNR. No field measurements or unit values are available for this period to verify the data. The record appears to be good. Data from May 10, 2001 to 09/30/2009 has been processed by the USGS with limited field water level measurements (18 measurements) during the period to verify the recorded water levels. This record is considered good. The record from 09/30/2009 to 08/25/2010 is good based on 4 water level measurements made during the period to verify the recorded data and is accurate to +/- 0.05 ft. The record from 08/25/2010 to 10/28/2010 is good based on 2 water level measurements made during the period to verify the recorded data and is accurate to +/- 0.1 ft. The record from 10/28/2010 to 07/24/2012 is fair to good based on 4 water level measurements made during the period to verify the recorded data. The record from 10/28/2010 to 05/17/2011 is fair and accurate to +/- 0.5 ft; the pressure transducer during this period drifted severely. The record from 05/17/2011 to 07/23/2012 is good and accurate to +/- 0.05 ft. The record from 07/24/2012 to 08/12/2013 is good based on 3 water level measurements made during the period to verify the recorded data and is accurate to +/- 0.05 ft. The record from 08/13/2013 to 02/10/2015 is good based on 4 water level measurements made during the period to verify the recorded data and is accurate to +/- 0.10 ft. The record from 02/11/2015 to 08/24/2015 is poor based on 2 water level measurements made during the period to verify the recorded data and is accurate to +/- 2.00 ft. During this period the pressure transducer drifted severely, and was replaced on 08/24/2015. The record from 08/25/2015 to 06/08/2016 is good based on 1 water level measurement made during the period to verify the recorded data and is accurate to +/- 0.05 ft. The record from 06/09/2016 to 02/28/2017 is good based on 2 water level measurement made during the period to verify the recorded data and is accurate to +/- 0.05 ft. The record from 03/01/2017 to 04/10/2018 is good based on 2 water level measurements made during the period to verify the data and is accurate to +/- 0.05 ft. The record from 04/11/2018 to 11/06/2018 is good based on 1 water level measurement made during the period to verify the recorded data and is accurate to +/- 0.05 ft. The record from 11/07/2018 to 04/23/2019 is good based on 1 water level measurement made during the period to verify the recorded data and is accurate to +/- 0.05 ft. The record from 04/24/2019 to 10/21/2019 is good based on 1 water level measurement made during the period to verify the recorded data and is accurate to +/- 0.05 ft.
