LOCATION - Lat 38°13'26.5", long 90°23'47.1" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, in sec.06, T.40 N., R.6 E., Jefferson County, MO, Hydrologic Unit 07140101,
REVISIONS HISTORY - The record from 11/25/2008 to 06/04/2009 was modified after it was previously set to 'Approved' status. A -0.02 ft correction was applied to the period to remove the affects of a gage reset on 11/25/2009.
GROUNDWATER RECORDS
DATUM - Land-surface datum is 450 ft above North American Vertical Datum of 1988. Measuring point: Undefined, 2.4 ft above land-surface datum, Aug. 23, 2001 to present.
PERIOD OF RECORD - November 21, 2001 to present.
GAGE - November 21, 2001 to present; DCP with float, encoder, and telemetry capability was installed as the water level recording and measuring devices.
COOPERATION - Data furnished by Missouri Department of Natural Resources (MDNR)and record processed by USGS and MDNR.
REMARKS - Data from 11/21/2001 to 09/30/2009 has been processed by the USGS with limited field water level measurements (17 measurements) during the period to verify the recorded water levels. This record is considered good, except for the period December 2003 to June 2004 which is fair. The data from 10/01/2009 to 04/05/2010 is good based on 2 water level measurements made during the period to verify the recorded data and is accurate to +/- 0.05 ft. The record from 04/06/2010 to 05/16/2011 is good based on 4 water level measurements made during the period to verify the recorded data and is accurate to +/- 0.05 ft. The record from 05/17/2012 to 06/17/2012 is good based on 3 water level measurements made during the period to verify the recorded data and is accurate to +/- 0.05 ft. The record from 06/17/2012 to 10/03/2012 was reviewed but not moved to 'In Review' status because of uncertainty on site visit on 10/03/2012. The gage appears to have been reset but no field sheet was available at this time. The record from 06/18/2012 to 08/12/2013 is good based on 4 water level measurements made during the period to verify the recorded data and is accurate to +/- 0.05 ft. The record from 08/13/2013 to 01/14/2015 is good based on 3 water level measurements made during the period to verify the recorded data and is accurate to +/- 0.10 ft. The record from 01/15/2015 to 03/01/2016 is fair based on 2 water level measurements made during the period to verify the recorded data and is accurate to +/- 0.20 ft. It is important to note that during the period of 01/15/2015 to 08/24/2015 the tape would frequently slip decreasing the accuracy of the readings during this period. The record from 03/02/2016 to 09/07/2016 is good based on 2 water level measurements made during the period to verify the recorded data and is accurate to +/- 0.05 ft. The record from 09/08/2016 to 02/28/2017 is good based on 1 water level measurements made during the period to verify the recorded data and is accurate to +/- 0.05 ft. The record from 03/01/2017 to 04/10/2018 is good based on 2 water level measurements made during the period to verify the recorded data and is accurate to +/-0.05 ft.
