REVISIONS HISTORY - Revisions: Land-surface datum was revised to 736.11 ft NAVD88 on Oct. 4, 2023, as determined by a GNSS survey by Missouri DNR. Land-surface datum was previously published in error as 720 ft NGVD29 from topographic map. Discrete water-level measurements referenced to NGVD29 and NAVD88 were revised, based on changes to the land-surface datum.

DATUM - Land-surface datum is 736.11 ft above North American Vertical Datum of 1988. Measuring point: unknown, 3.1 ft above land-surface datum, Apr. 28, 1956 to present.  
PERIOD OF RECORD - April 30, 1956 to present.
GAGE - April 30, 1956 to March 30, 1980; Stevens A-35 strip chart; April 3, 1980 to February 10, 2000 Stevens model 7001 digital recorder; February 24, 2000 to present telemetry DCP. April 28, 2000 to present water level measuring device is float driven encoder.
REMARKS - Record from 04/30/1956 to 07/22/1986 and data from 08/30/1991 to 02/10/2000 is fair. Record from 04/14/1987 to 05/04/1988 is poor. The record from 02/24/2000 to 09/30/2008 is good based on 16 water level measurements made during the period to verify the record. The record from 10/01/2008 to 09/01/2009 is good based on 4 water level measurements made during the period and is accurate to +/- 0.05 ft. The record from 09/02/2009 to 10/05/2010 is good based on 5 water level measurements made during the period and the record is accurate to +/- 0.05 ft. The record from 10/06/2010 to 08/21/2011 is good based on 4 water level measurements made during the period and the record is accurate to +/- 0.05 ft. The record from 08/21/2012 to 12/31/2012 is good based on 5 water level measurements made during the period and the record is accurate to +/- 0.05 ft. The record from 01/01/2013 to 07/02/2013 is good based on 2 water level mesurements made during the period to verify the recorded data and is accurate to +/- 0.05 ft. The record from 07/03/2013 to 01/13/2015 is good based on 4 water level measurements made during the period to verify the recorded data and is accurate to +/- 0.05 ft. The record from 01/14/2015 to 07/11/2016 is good based on 4 water level measurements made during the period to verify the recorded data and is accurate to +/- 0.05 ft.
