LOCATION - Lat 38°21'05", long 85°37'51" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, Jefferson County, KY, Hydrologic Unit 05140101, Jeffersonville quadrangle, at Hays Kennedy Park, 20 ft south of Bass Road, along west edge of parking lot for picnic shelter, under 8 inch manhole. Owner: Jefferson County Parks Dept.
GROUNDWATER RECORDS
WELL CHARACTERISTICS - Depth 77 ft. Upper casing diameter 2 in; top of first opening 67 ft, bottom of last opening 77 ft.
DATUM - Land-surface datum is 439.68 ft above National Geodetic Vertical Datum of 1929. Measuring point: Top of 2 in pvc casing, 0.27 ft below land-surface datum, Mar. 29, 2000, to present.
PERIOD OF RECORD - March 2000 to current year.
GAGE - Continuous recorder, 30 minute interval.
REMARKS - Water levels affected by nearby pumping and Ohio River.
