LOCATION - Lat 38°26'28", long 104°49'37" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, in SW 1/4 NW 1/4 sec.31, T.18 S., R.66 W., Pueblo County, CO, Hydrologic Unit 11020002, on Fort Carson Military Reservation, at base of right downstream end of Teller Dam on Turkey Creek, and 1.9 mi east of Stone City.
DRAINAGE AREA - Indeterminate.
SURFACE-WATER RECORDS
PERIOD OF RECORD - October 2001 to September 2012, November 2014 to current year.
GAGE - Water-stage recorder with satellite telemetry and combination sharp-crested weir. Elevation of gage is 5,420 ft above NGVD of 1929, from topographic map.
REMARKS - Water year 2015; records good except for estimated daily discharges, which are poor. Water year 2016; records fair except for estimated daily discharges, which are poor. Water year 2017; records poor. Water year 2018: records poor. Water year 2019; no estimated daily discharges. Records poor. Water year 2020; records poor. Water year 2021; records poor. Water year 2022; records poor. Water year 2023; records poor. Natural flow of stream is dependent upon Teller Reservoir contents (station 07099233) and saturation of earthfill dam. Records represent dam seepage from Teller Reservoir and local storm runoff.
