REVISIONS HISTORY -
Revisions: Land-surface datum was updated to 945.16 ft NAVD88 on May 22, 2023, as determined by a GNSS survey by Missouri DNR. Land-surface datum was previously published as 941 ft NGVD29 from a topographic map. Discrete water-level measurements prior to May 22, 2023, are referenced to the original datum.

A -0.17 ft correction was applied to the period 01/19/2007 to 05/30/2007 after it had been previously approved. The gage was reset -0.17 ft on 05/30/2007 causing a distinct offset in the hydrograph. The offset was corrected.

GROUNDWATER RECORDS

DATUM - Land-surface datum is 945.16 ft above North American Vertical Datum of 1988. Measuring point: unknown, 0.8 ft above land-surface datum, Sep. 1, 1937 to present.  

PERIOD OF RECORD - December 7, 2005 to present.

GAGE - December 1, 2005 to present; DCP with telemetry capability, and float and encoderinstalled as the water level recording and measuring devices.

COOPERATION - Data furnished by Missouri Department of Natural Resources (MDNR). Data processed by the USGS and MDNR.

REMARKS -

Data from 12/01/2005 to 09/30/2008 has been processed by the USGS with limited field water level measurements (9 measurements) during the period to verify the recorded water levels. This record is considered fair. Data from 10/01/2008 to 08/23/2010 has been processed by the USGS with limited field water level measurements (8) during the period to verify the recorded water levels. This record is considered fair and is generally accurate to +/- 0.2 ft. The record from 08/23/2010 to 10/18/2011 is good based on 5 water level measurements made during the period to verify the recorded data and is accurate to +/- 0.05 ft. The record from 10/18/2011 to 08/14/2012 is good based on 4 water level measurements made during the period to verify the recorded data and is accurate to +/- 0.05 ft. The record from 08/15/2012 to 10/07/2013 is fair based on 5 water level measurements made during the period to verify the recorded data and is accurate to +/- 0.20 ft. The float regularly sticks at this site which can affect the value of the water level recorded by the equipment. The record from 11/08/2013 to 01/26/2015 is good based on 4 water level measurements made during the period to verify the recorded data and is accurate to +/- 0.10 ft. The record from 01/27/2015 to 11/21/2016 is good based on 2 water level measurements made during the period to verify the recorded data and is accurate to +/- 0.05 ft. The record from 11/22/2016 to 07/10/2017 is good based on 2 water level measurements made during the period to verify the recorded data and is accurate to +/- 0.10 ft. The record from 07/11/2017 to 01/29/2018 is good based on 1 water level measurements made during the period to verify the recorded data and is accurate to +/- 0.15 ft. The record from 01/30/2018 to 08/07/2018 is good based on 1 water level measurements made during the period to verify the recorded data and is accurate to +/- 0.05 ft. The record from 08/08/2018 to 02/13/2019 is good based on 1 water level measurement made during the period to verify the recorded data and is accurate to +/- 0.10 ft. The record from 02/14/2019 to 09/24/2019 is good based on 1 water level measurement made during the period to verify the recorded data and is accurate to +/- 0.05 ft.
