LOCATION - Lat 38°41'33", long 75°37'50" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, Sussex County, DE, Hydrologic Unit 02080109, Bucks Branch.
GROUNDWATER RECORDS
WELL CHARACTERISTICS - Depth 7 ft. Upper casing diameter 2 in; top of first opening 4 ft, bottom of last opening 7 ft. Drilled observation well.
DATUM - Land-surface datum is 38 ft above North American Vertical Datum of 1988. Measuring point: At Center bolt, 1.90 ft above land-surface datum, Oct. 28, 2014, to present.
PERIOD OF RECORD - May 22, 2014 to July 5, 2016 (end of record- project complete).
GAGE -
  • Water year 2016: Records good.
  • Water Year 2015: Records satisfactory to good.
  • Water Year 2014: Records satisfactory to good.
    Water-level measurements by U.S. Geological Survey personnel. Equipped with water-level data logger-- 15-minute recording interval, May 2014 to July 5, 2016. Missing record due to recorder malfunction.
  • REMARKS - Agricultural Monitoring Network project well. Water levels are affected by local groundwater withdrawal (irrigation), during summer growing season.
    EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD - Highest water level measured, 1.28 ft below land surface, February 16, 2016 (recorder); lowest water level measured, 4.31 ft below land surface, September 26, 2015 (recorder).
