LOCATION - Lat 38°41'37.4", long 75°38'44.7" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, Sussex County, DE, Hydrologic Unit 02080109, Bucks Branch.
GROUNDWATER RECORDS
WELL CHARACTERISTICS - Depth 14 ft. Upper casing diameter 2.00 in; top of first opening 11 ft, bottom of last opening 14 ft. Drilled observation well.
DATUM - Land-surface datum is 43 ft above North American Vertical Datum of 1988. Measuring point: Center of bolt, thru PVC casing, 1.90 ft above land-surface datum, Sep. 8, 2014, to present.
PERIOD OF RECORD - April 10, 2014 to April 18, 2016 (end of record- project complete).
GAGE -
  • Water Year 2016: Records good.
  • Water Year 2015: Records satisfactory to good.
  • Water Year 2014: Records satisfactory to good.
    Water-level measurements by U.S. Geological Survey personnel. Equipped with water-level data logger -- 15-minute recording interval, October 2014 to April 2016. Missing record due to recorder malfunction and equipment removal during crop growing season.
    • REMARKS - Agricultural Monitoring Network project well. Water levels are affected by local groundwater withdrawal (irrigation), during summer growing season.
    EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD - Highest water level measured, 8.21 ft below land surface, February 17, 2016 (recorder); lowest water level measured, 12.28 ft below land surface, September 4, 2015 (recorder).
