LOCATION - Lat 38°41'38.4", long 75°38'21.1" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, Sussex County, DE, Hydrologic Unit 02080109, Bucks Branch.
GROUNDWATER RECORDS
WELL CHARACTERISTICS - Depth 11 ft. Upper casing diameter 2 in; top of first opening 8 ft, bottom of last opening 11 ft. Drilled observation well.
DATUM - Land-surface datum is 41 ft above North American Vertical Datum of 1988. Measuring point: Center of bolt, 2.00 ft above land-surface datum, April 8, 2014, to present.
PERIOD OF RECORD - July 7, 2014 to April 13, 2016 (end of record- project complete).
GAGE -
  • Water Year 2016: Records good.
  • Water Year 2015: Records satisfactory to good.
  • Water Year 2104: Records satisfactory to good.
    Water-level measurements by U.S. Geological Survey personnel. Missing record due to recorder malfunction and equipment removal during crop growing season. Equipped with water-level data logger-- 15-minute recording interval, June 2014 to April 2016.
  • REMARKS - Agricultural Monitoring Network project well. Water levels are affected by local groundwater withdrawal (irrigation), during summer growing season.
    EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD - Highest water level measured, 5.37 ft below land surface, January 24, 2015 (recorder); lowest water level measured, 9.47 ft below land surface, August 1, September 5, 2014 (recorder).
