LOCATION - Lat 38°50'42.8", long 75°39'56.5" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, Kent County, DE, Hydrologic Unit 02080109, 1.3 mi northeast of Adamsville.
GROUNDWATER RECORDS
WELL CHARACTERISTICS - Depth 20 ft. Upper casing diameter 2 in; top of first opening 15 ft, bottom of last opening 19 ft. Drilled, observation, water-table well.
DATUM - Land-surface datum is 56 ft above National Geodetic Vertical Datum of 1929. Measuring point: Top of recorder shelter platform, 3.75 ft above land-surface datum, Jul. 1, 2001 to present.
PERIOD OF RECORD - July 2001 to current year.
GAGE - Water-level recorder. Delaware Groundwater-Level Monitoring Network observation well.
REMARKS -
  • Water Years 2020-2023: Records good.
  • Water Year 2019: Records fair.

    EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD - Highest water level measured, 4.22 ft below land surface, March 15, 2010 (recorder); lowest measured, 16.49 ft below land surface, December 9-11, 2008 (recorder).
