LOCATION - Lat 38°56'07", long 74°55'56" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, West Cape May Borough, Cape May County, NJ, Hydrologic Unit 02040302, on the north side of Sunset Blvd. Park in the brightly colored Chattel House Village Shopping Center with the well located about 10 feet off of the sidewalk. WELL CHARACTERISTICS - Depth 293 ft. Upper casing diameter 6 in; top of first opening 283 ft, bottom of last opening 293 ft. Drilled artesian well.
DATUM - Land-surface datum is 6.60 ft above National Geodetic Vertical Datum of 1929. Measuring point: Transfer MP created for migration, 0 ft above land-surface datum, Jul. 27, 1957 to Nov. 11, 1983; Front edge of cut out in pvc housing, 2.88 ft above land-surface datum, Jul. 27, 1957 to present; BOTTOM OF CUTOUT IN PVC CASING, 2.88 ft above land-surface datum, Nov. 10, 1983 to Nov. 11, 1983.
