LOCATION - Lat 39°00'12", long 74°47'20" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, North Wildwood City, Cape May County, NJ, Hydrologic Unit 02040302, on the north side of 2nd Ave., between Surf Ave. and Ocean Ave.
GROUNDWATER RECORDS
WELL CHARACTERISTICS - Depth 965 ft. Upper casing diameter 4 in; top of first opening 910 ft, bottom of last opening 960 ft. Drilled artesian well.
DATUM - Land-surface datum is 10 ft above National Geodetic Vertical Datum of 1929. Measuring point: Top of shelf, 4.40 ft above land-surface datum, July 15, 1992, to present.
PERIOD OF RECORD - July 1992 to current year.
GAGE - Submersible logger pressure transducer--60-minute recording interval. Water-level recorder, July 1992 to May 1998.
REMARKS - Water level is affected by tidal fluctuation and nearby pumping.
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD - Highest water level, 24.93 ft below land surface datum, May 20, 1993; lowest, 48.74 ft below land surface datum, Aug 29, 2011.
