- For water years 2014 onward, choose a water year and parameter and an on-demand Water-Year Summary report will be generated.
- For water years 2006 through 2013, choose a water year and an Annual Water Data Report will be provided.
- For water years 2005 and earlier, Annual Water Data Reports may be available in digital format.
- Not all sites have reports available for every water year.

LOCATION - Lat 39°04'22", long 74°54'47" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, Middle Township, Cape May County, NJ, Hydrologic Unit 02040206, Site is located at the Rutgers Oyster Laboratory. Park near the first Research building located on your left. Walk behind the one-story building, past the oyster tanks and the well is just outside of the clearing in the middle of the backyard.
GROUNDWATER RECORDS
WELL CHARACTERISTICS - Depth 709 ft. Upper casing diameter 4 in; top of first opening 656 ft, bottom of last opening 666 ft. Drilled artesian well.
DATUM - Land-surface datum is 6 ft above National Geodetic Vertical Datum of 1929. Measuring point: TOP OF CASING, 3.0 ft above land-surface datum, Aug. 8, 1989 to Mar. 2, 1990; BASE OF RECORDER BOX ADR INSTALLED 03/01/90, 3.55 ft above land-surface datum, Mar. 1, 1990 to Dec. 2, 1992; TOP OF RECORDER SHELF, 3.64 ft above land-surface datum, Apr. 8, 1991 to Apr. 9, 1991; Top of casing, 3.05 ft above land-surface datum, Dec. 8, 1992 to Mar. 26, 2025; Top of blue protective outer casing with saw mark, 6.76 ft above land-surface datum, Mar. 24, 2025 to present.
PERIOD OF RECORD - March 1990 to current year.
GAGE - Water-level recorder.
REMARKS - Water level is affected by tidal fluctuation and regional pumping.
