LOCATION - Lat 39°06'11", long 74°48'38" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, Middle Township, Cape May County, NJ, Hydrologic Unit 02040302, at Cape May County Park.
GROUNDWATER RECORDS
WELL CHARACTERISTICS - Depth 230 ft. Upper casing diameter 6 in; top of first opening 214 ft, bottom of last opening 230 ft. Drilled artesian well.
DATUM - Land-surface datum is 10.73 ft above National Geodetic Vertical Datum of 1929. Measuring point: Top of hole in well seal, 2.27 ft above land-surface datum, May 12, 2000, to present.
PERIOD OF RECORD - October 1957 to current year.
GAGE - Submersible logger pressure transducer--60 minute recording interval. Water-level recorder, November 1986 to May 2000. Periodic measurements, November 1968 to November 1986. Water-level recorder, April 1961 to November 1968. Periodic measurements, November 1958 to April 1961. Water-level recorder, October 1957 to October 1958.
REMARKS - Water level is affected by tidal fluctuation and nearby pumping.
