LOCATION - Lat 39°18'29", long 75°12'08" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, Lawrence Township, Cumberland County, NJ, Hydrologic Unit 02040206, in Nantuxent Wildlife Management Area, about 1.7 mi south of Cedarville. Turn left right after you pass through gate. Coordinates are actually for gate, not well.
REVISIONS HISTORY - Revision: On 2023-11-20, data from 2011-012-13 10:00 to 2023-09-11 07:15 was unapproved and revised to "data temporarily unavailable" due to information from past integrity testing being reviewed and additional troubleshooting being required. Once issue is resolved data will be reapproved or removed.
GROUNDWATER RECORDS
WELL CHARACTERISTICS - Depth 375 ft. Upper casing diameter 4 in; top of first opening 365 ft, bottom of last opening 375 ft. Drilled artesian well.
DATUM - Land-surface datum is 10.1 ft above National Geodetic Vertical Datum of 1929. Measuring point: Transfer MP created for migration, 0 ft above land-surface datum, Dec. 27, 1971 to Mar. 8, 1977; Top of shelf, 1.9 ft above land-surface datum, Mar. 7, 1977 to present.
PERIOD OF RECORD - March 1972 to current year.
GAGE - Water-level recorder.
REMARKS - Water level is affected by tidal fluctuation and regional pumping. The well was pumped on Dec 13, 2011. After pumping, the water-level did not return to its previous level. Therefore, the screen may have been partially clogged prior to the pumping.
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD - Highest water level, 12.27 ft below land surface datum, Apr 11, 1972; lowest, 79.33 ft below land surface datum, Sep 15, 2015.
