LOCATION - Lat 39°25'14", long 74°52'17" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, Maurice River Township, Cumberland County, NJ, Hydrologic Unit 02040302, in wooded area off Harriet Ave., 1.5 mi southeast of Milmay.
GROUNDWATER RECORDS
WELL CHARACTERISTICS - Depth 2,093 ft. Upper casing diameter 5 in; top of first opening 2,083 ft, bottom of last opening 2,093 ft. Drilled artesian well.
DATUM - Land-surface datum is 85 ft above National Geodetic Vertical Datum of 1929. Measuring point: saw marks in well casing, 1.19 ft above land-surface datum, UNDEFINED BEGIN DATE to present; Transfer MP created for migration, 0 ft above land-surface datum, Oct. 20, 1974 to Dec. 3, 1988; Top of shelf, 2.4 ft above land-surface datum, Dec. 2, 1988 to present.
PERIOD OF RECORD - October 1974 to current year.
GAGE - Water-level recorder.
REMARKS - This well is perforated in a saline zone of the aquifer system. A correction is needed to obtain the equivalent freshwater head.
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD - Highest water level, 116.35 ft below land surface datum, November 20, 1974; lowest, 140.11 ft below land surface datum, Jan 1-2, 1999. A historic water level is noted at 115.82 ft below land surface datum, Apr 3, 1975.
