LOCATION - Lat 39°31'48", long 79°01'06" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, Allegany County, MD, Hydrologic Unit 02070002, at Barton Municipal Park.
GROUNDWATER RECORDS
WELL CHARACTERISTICS - Depth 71 ft. Upper casing diameter 8 in; top of first opening 20 ft, bottom of last opening 71 ft. Drilled, observation, water-table well; open hole below 20 ft. Well sounded on January 28, 2020 to a depth of 56.89 ft from MP.
DATUM - Land-surface datum is 1,246.29 ft above North American Vertical Datum of 1988. Measuring point: Top of casing, 4.0 ft above land-surface datum, Jul. 1, 2003 to present.

Levels run into site November 21, 2019 show elevation of land surface is 1246.29 ft above North American Vertical Datum of 1988 starting November 21, 2019 to present. No change to MP of 4.00 ft.

PERIOD OF RECORD - March 1992 to current year.
GAGE -  Equipped with digital water-level recorder from October 2003 to November 2010. Monthly water-level measurements by U.S. Geological Survey personnel using calibrated E-Tape.
REMARKS - Maryland Groundwater-Level Monitoring Network observation well.
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD -

The extremes in water levels tapedowns for the entire period of record are 26.00 (Low) below land surface on March 17, 1992 and 17.00 (High) below land surface on August 14, 1986.
