LOCATION - Lat 39°37'33", long 77°27'48" referenced to North American Datum of 1927, Frederick County, MD, Hydrologic Unit 02070009, 0.4 mi west of Hunting Creek Lake, Cunningham Falls State Park.
GROUNDWATER RECORDS
WELL CHARACTERISTICS - Depth 189 ft. Upper casing diameter 6 in; top of first opening 22 ft, bottom of last opening 189 ft. Drilled, observation, water-table well; open hole below 22 ft.
DATUM - Land-surface datum is 1,095.35 ft above North American Vertical Datum of 1988. Measuring point: Top of casing, 3.0 ft above land-surface datum, Jul. 1, 2003 to present. Levels run into site January 22, 2020 show elevation of land surface is 1095.35 ft above North American Vertical Datum of 1988 starting January 22, 2020 to present. No change to top of well casing MP of 3.00 ft.

GAGE - Water-level measurements by U.S. Geological Survey personnel. Equipped with digital water-level recorder from August 2003 to October 2010 and from September 2017 to May 2019.
REMARKS - Maryland Groundwater-Level Monitoring Network observation well. Missing record due to recorder malfunction.
EXTREMES FOR PERIOD OF RECORD - Highest water level measured, 6.06 ft below land surface, April 2, 1993 (recorder); lowest measured, 47.21 ft below land surface, December 16, 1998 (tapedown value).
