LOCATION - Lat 39°48'45", long 79°35'14" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, Fayette County, PA, Hydrologic Unit 05020006, at Fort Necessity National Battlefield.
GROUNDWATER RECORDS
WELL CHARACTERISTICS - Depth 100 ft. Upper casing diameter 6 in; top of first opening 19 ft, bottom of last opening 100 ft. Drilled observation well, cased to 19 ft, open hole.
DATUM - Land-surface datum is 1,927 ft above North American Vertical Datum of 1988. Measuring point: top of casing; MODIFIED DATE FOR AQ MIGRATION; 11/01/1967, 2.00 ft above land-surface datum, Aug. 1, 1967 to present. Elevation of land surface is from Lidar.
PERIOD OF RECORD - November 1967 to current year.
GAGE - Data collection platform with 60-minute recording interval since Dec. 12, 2000. Satellite telemetry at station.
COOPERATION - Site maintained in cooperation with the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection and the U.S. Geological Survey.
