LOCATION - Lat 39°50'08.7", long 82°59'31.2" referenced to North American Datum of 1983, Franklin County, OH, Hydrologic Unit 05060001, near Shadeville.
GROUNDWATER RECORDS
WELL CHARACTERISTICS - Depth 122 ft. Upper casing diameter 2 in; top of first opening 119 ft, bottom of last opening 122 ft. Water-level observation water well.
DATUM - Land-surface datum is 701.06 ft above North American Vertical Datum of 1988. Measuring point: top of pvc casing, 2.39 ft above land-surface datum, Jun. 11, 1987 to Apr. 17, 1990; top of pvc casing, 4.2 ft above land-surface datum, Jun. 25, 1990 to Jul. 2, 2002; Top of PVC casing, 4.0 ft above land-surface datum, Jul. 1, 2002 to present.
PERIOD OF RECORD - Periodic water-level measurements October, 1977 to current year. Continuous water-level measurements March, 2004 to current year.
GAGE - Data logger and pressure transducer, 60-minute record.
COOPERATION - City of Columbus. This well is part of a long-term ground-water monitoring network in southern Franklin County.
REMARKS -

The record is rated good except for periods of missing data due to equipment problems or maintenance. Water level data from Jan. 6, 2005 to Feb. 1, 2005 are not used in daily values calculations when high stage in Big Walnut Creek crested above the top of the well casing. Water level data are also missing from Mar. 12, 2020 to June 30, 2020 when Big Walnut Creek floods crested above the top of the well shelter and destroyed equipment.
